New Your Private Sommelier In case you haven't noticed, in Venice it's local costum to hang out with friends in various Enotecas and " Bacari ". You drink a glass of wine together with a " cichetto " a little snack more filling than potato chips! There are so many varieties of food and wine to choose from that it's easy to get overwhelmed! Your Private Sommelier will explain the different between Chardonnay, Prosecco or Soave grape and wine, and will teach you how to combine these wines with food. Your Class Soave-Valplicella The hours for the full day class are approximately 9.45am to 6p.m. The half day class originating in Verona goes from 9.45am to 3 p.m. Afternoon classes may be arranged upon requests. On this day you'll enjoy three or two vineyards visits and wine tastings in selected vineyards in the Valpolicella and Soave wine regions. At each vineyard a sommelier or wine maker will conduct a tour of the vineyards and aging cellar so that you fully appreciate the methods of vine growing and wine making . With this knowledge at hand, you'll be able to truly appreciate the unique and diverse wines that you'll taste at each vineyard.
